Can you imagine thinking you have just rescued one dog, only to find out you rescued twelve?
You will meet Lucy, a wonderfully sweet Great Pyrenees, in need of a second chance. Little did we know the impact she would have on our lives and those around us.
As a photographer, I captured so many fun moments of Lucy, her surprise puppies, and the folks who helped us make this story possible. This book is a perfect combination of my digitally enhanced photos and the recounting of Lucy's story. Together, they will bring you into Lucy's world in a diary style recounting of day by day until the pups were old enough to start going to their new, adoptive homes.
This book is perfect for animal lovers of all ages, families, homeschoolers, classrooms, and grandparents alike will embrace Lucy's story. Heartwarming, educational, and inspiring. Dog lovers will Lucy's story. It is true and a first hand look into one dog's rescue that turned into the rescue of twelve. Sometimes the biggest surprises begin with a simple act of kindness.
Lucy my rescue dog is part of the Around the Farm series, where every animal has a story worth telling.
